Can Rx8's produce big power like the Rx7?please view

Mine is running 9.5 psi, and 12 psi on my higher boost setting which should up me mid 300's hp.. 14/15 psi can be attained and get you into the 400 hp range. The computer was the biggest thing on the rx8's it kept re learning itself unlike earlier fc/fd which were stupid.

All in the tuning sir.. 20k miles boosted.. compression looks great, car pulls strong.. tranny is in great shape (i dont thrash it) I boost everyday. Its been reliable and a great daily driver. intercooler placement is important since FMIC will block air flow to the radiator. I know it will eventually blow but just like any other rotary that is boosted or piston motor as a matter of fact life expectancy is reduced when going FI

The car doesn't have high compression, it is low compression for the reason of that Wankel gave you the opportunity to add up to your engine.
With that said. This has a better chance of getting hp with super charging or turbo charging.
Both are slightly the same but has different affect on the car.
Though if you want gains, you would have to either. Street port or race port the rx8 with turbo fitting. And minor modifications to the car, to make it a beast
