Build your own comperssion tester

The wiring dieagram tell most of it, the main part is a AC perssuer sensons from a late madel GM car and you'll need an Oscilloscope, I know they are out there real cheap, Had one stollen.

the a/c sensor if a simple off on type switch on at about 20psi and off under that, so this tester will not really show the pressure.

Nop, it's a three wire transister crystile thing which I could spell or pronouch, in shot it's a feed back from the AC to the PCM so it knows at all time what the perssuer is so as the PCM can fan speed adjustments, fuel mix for loads, the list goes on, so more info you need maybe

Got a part number on that sensor? I gotta figure out how to translate output to PSI and put it on a display... Looks good.

Perhaps I can build a Microcontroller and program it to duplicate the Authentic Mazda tester with three LED displays. One for each rotor.

I'm sure it would. The DATAQ is just an Analog to Digital converter and Data Aquisition device... It just converts your serial port into an Analog or Digital input device. Put what ever you want on it and calibrate the software to show what you want it to.
