Body shop F&$@# my car up

I took my RX8 in to have dents removed, repainted, clear bra and spoiler added.
Well this is what they did to my car.
Scratches in the paint from where they tried to "buff" it, Paint scratched off both door handles, scratches in the plastic strip at the bottom of the window and scratches on the glass too! It looks like they stuck a rock in the buffer and went over my car with it!
So they told me to come back next Tuesday and they will fix what they did and they are not going to charge me for the spoiler. Im still so mad I could cry! After the weekend I had( totaled 2 RX7's this weekend) this was the last thing I needed. I was so excited to be picking her up after not having her for 2 weeks and this happens!

WOW! That's a freakin hack job.I wouldn't take it back who knows what else they might do to it.It clearly seems that they don't know what the hell they're doing and why would they even give it back to you in that condition. You know they seen it before you came to pick it up. If this would happen to me I'd take it to someone else that know's what they're doing and have them pay for it.I'd be hessitant to return my pride and joy to them butcher's. Also be careful they don't say it happened after you took it home. A week is a long time to wait alot could happen in a week's time.

Well I did still have to pay for it but he is doing the spoiler for free and redoing the doors and hood. I dont know what the hell they will do about the window, Im guessing they will have to buy me another one. They didnt even bring it up to me when I picked her up. I noticed it and even when I said something to the guy he tried to blow it off and said the "swirls" where common in black cars! If they dont fix it to my satisfaction I am going to contact the insurance company and raise hell.

Those look more like marks from a D-A sander, not a buffer "swirl"

Don't take it back
Take it to someone else and get a quote to fix and take THAT to them. If they tried to pass this off on you, there is a lot worse they have done! Just think you could go back to pick it up for the 2nd time and now the **** is worse and the spoiler is now screwed too!

Even the window looks l it got scratched too

They probably used a rough sanding paper to get those marks.

Any updates?

I agree with Bender... don't take it back there but bring them a quote from a better shop. Threaten to sue if you have to. There's a good chance they'll just do even more damage the second time with their obvious incompetence. I really doubt they're going to replace your window and door handles, they'll probably just do more buffing and further thin out your clearcoat.

I took it back to them Tuesday and was told I could pick it up Thursday. So I called yesterday and the receptionist told me she was ready. I got there my window was still scratched and the spoiler was not on. The manager said he didnt know why they had said she was ready. He was waiting for the new wondow to come in and to put the spoiler on. I did a quick look over the car, the hood and the door handles looked great.. From what I could see. I cant wait for them to call me to come get her today!!
