Anyone here running a 13B in a Super Seven kit car?

I'm thinking of doing this in the spring since I already have the 13B. I hate bodywork and my GSL needs quite a bit of it too so I would go ahead and part that out (has lots of RB stuff). Plus the idea of an NA twin rotor car with a better power to weight ratio than a C6 Z06 makes me smile. Just wanted to see if anyone here has one and if there are any complications that may arise when installing the rotary. Plus I would just like to see some pics of them.

Go searching for Rotus. There were a few built a year or two ago and there were pics and video floating around. I think there might have been a rotary Locost or two at one point as well.

One of these with a Rotary in it. You wouldnt want to put a rotary in a REAL Lotus Super 7 you would want to do it with a kit car such as the Caterham. I wanted one for a long time but I managed to get it out of my system. Would be a real hoot to drive but very limited in its uses, not to mention super dangerous

I toured the Rotus "Factory" in Frederick Md. back in the 80's. Chris Custer was a real hoot to talk to.

the car that was in SCC magazine was a Laminar Viking. IIRC, mostly carbon fiber body paneling. if you google laminar viking, theres one in particular that a guy put a 13b-rew in and tracks it on a regular basis

I've got a 12a in a super 7 replica. It's quick. I bought the car already put together.

One of the guys over here has one for sale.

It's running a 13BT from a FD with pretty much all FD running gear...it's insanely fast!

Here's a video of it (double click the video to open his youtube page for more video's): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPYrW...layer_embedded

He had to fit the cage because I believe he was running sub 10.99 times...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxV1D...layer_embedded
