Anybody recognize this RX2???

Its for sale kinda close to where i live, its from the states tho, no clue on where.. i dont know if im feeling the molded front body kit and how wide the kit is all together but he seems to really want to get rid of it, these are the only pics in the ad, its a 1973. heres the ad but he takes it down quite often and reposts it...it looks more like a dually in the back then a widebody with those fenders lol

I thought I saw that for sale out of Canada a couple of years ago. I don't mind it, the front looks a little tacky the original grille incorporated would have been better imo.

Looks like an R100 front end modded to fit the 2. Would like to see more pics and details. It would also be nice if the ad came with a ball park figure for what he wants. Its got potential....

he wants 5-6G for it, apparently its bridgeported too, im going to take a look at it once im back from a work trip. was just seeing if any of you guys recognized it since its got a US title. Its defenatly unique though, and its near impossible to find a rx2,rx3, etc in BC, canada!

He is going to send me more pics Tuesday. Engine bay etc. Ill be looking at it hopefully on May 9th when im home, if its worth thinking of buying ill take some pics, or maybe even buy it on the spot! lol

It would be in good hands with me ill tell you that much... i have a tendancy of going far and beyond with my projects

Im stuck between the RX2 and This FB though, only thing is the FB isnt street legal at the moment, and obcourse will cost alot more to buy then the RX2..but its a good deal, lol. im looking for a Track (Mostly) And the odd sunday drive "fun" car , gas is too expensive to DD a rx7 here anymore (94 octane is 1.74+/liter and rising quick ) The FB is a retired track car..but its got a fresh motor in it and all it needs is new belts and a few minor things to be track legal again

I'm waiting for pics/info as well. Would be a nice addition to my old school collection. Will be in good hands with me as well, and I've just reclaimed space in my 40x72 shop.

Good looking RX2 looks like the German racing Ford Capris I used to run against in the 70s in Europe

im gonna look at another RX7 in that area next week and hopefully the RX2... if he gets back to me ill take some pics and let you know the condition, if i dont look at it next week ill be out of town for a month or more for work, and probably lose interest by the time i get back. He emailed me a bunch of times saying he will get pics but i havent got any yet
