another so. cal repu AKA ''LEGO''!!!

here is my repu project aka ''LEGO''.picked it up from a friend who had plans of restoreing it,but due to some personnal issues,had to let her go.its been fully body prepped ready for paint,but i'd rather invest on getting it running first.and not to mention to only have paid a whopping $1k w some extra misc goodies included!it is definetly a project,so plenty of updates to come!

I am really finding myself wanting one of these trucks...I also like the look of the early b series pickups like 78-84 model years and then do a rotary swap

update!!

picked up some wheels for lego.thier pro comp 15x 9's" w a nice 3.5''in lip.idk the offset,but hopefully they dont stick out too much!i will test fit them tomorrow.

ohhh noooooo!!!

i did a test fit earlier today n found out they r actually a 15x10'' rims,so they stuck out wayyyy tooo much!!

measure the backspace (inches). thats more reliable to use than offset

the backspace was fine,they just stuck out about 3 inches out of the fender!!!! they were sold on craigslist within 2-4 hrs after i posted them!

legos new heart!!!!

i went ahead and started pulling the motor out of my fb to install into the repu.its a gsl se 13b 6 port street port block done by pineapple racing(purchased by previous owner of my fb)its got roughly about 15k mls so lego should have plenty of pep!!just waiting to pick up a 79 0r 80 5spd trans b4 it gets dropped in!

small update....

finally got some work done to lego....installed a fb 5spd trans sporting a spiffy b&m shift **** & also mounted my msd coils...
