?? 87 rx7 engine in a rx3
I'm thinking of putting a 87 EFI rx7 engine in my rx3 .Instead of putting my carb engine I think I want to put this efi engine in it, I cant afford Turbo For a while so why try. And I love the holley but I want to cruise all day and my rx3 engine is loud , I plan to cruise everywhere and have fun I wanted alittle more quit.
But first I want some pictures of clean efi engines non turbo 87 model and see how they look dressed up. any suggestion are welcome ,,
Thanks

i have done all these swaps, for n/a i use a gsl-se external fuel pump. the engine and all the efi stuff i get off the second gen rx7 and make a harness to power up the coils and ecu.dont have any pictures of any of my swaps though.once you remove all the emissions stuff of the efi engine they clean up nice.

Performance and noise goes hand on hand. you want it quiet? use a single 2" pipes with racing beat presilencer and primaflow muffler BUT performance will suffer. now for the throaty carb, add an air cleaner assembly with cold air intake (they make these for holley carbs) but again, performance can suffer.
so switching to FI with headers may not be the solution BUT wait, I heard if you swap the entire interior to RX-8 will add 150hp
