on a stock 77 REPU the wire starts on the leading coil with a single wire connection (B-09). The wire is YW (Yellow White). It terminates on the back of the guage cluster. the round plug (X-08) with about 10 wires is what your looking for.

send me an e-mail and i can send you the wiring diagram.

be careful because the 77 wiring diagram is different from other years.

Good luck

That yellow/white wire comes from the coil, goes down to the emissions computer box, and *then* it goes into the cluster. I don't believe that little detour is indicated in the diagrams. I know I was surprised to see it in that connector when I went through my 77's harness a few months back.

Yup. LOTS of differences in the wiring on the '77 versus the other years. Seems like they just kinda gave up when they got to the '77. The '77 compared to previous years has a harness that is far less modular, has fewer fuses in places, etc.
