77 13b Toyota Celica

Ok Im kinda late starting a project thread but I have been building for over a year now so its getting toward the end. Started with a 77 Celica with a nice 20r with sidedrafts drove it 1 week and tore it out and sold everything. Then started collecting 13b parts after talking with my engine builder heres a quick list of what I got new gsl-se rotor housings, 86 Na rotors, shaft, 88 turbo side housings, new RX8 stat gears, new oil pump, weber ida, light flywheel, ect....

heres a pic with a dummy block fitting everything

heres a pic of the 79 Rx7 radiator dropped right in and 2 bolts lined up

more pics to come soon

Nice work. Looks great.

I love the motor. I am a fan of the older, less messy 13b's. Short intakes, distributors, simpicity at its finest.

But I am also a big Toyota fan. The 20r was one of the best motors ever.
So this build, to me, is kinda like the people who put a v8 in an RX ; it is cool and all. And sometime they can be done super clean, but in the end . . . you tore out the cars heart.

Super nice car. Great looking motor. everything looks to be done very well.
