76 rx4 front end = doodoo (IMO)

okay. . . i like the rx4 as a car in whole, but i dont think i like the 76 front end. . . is there a way to convert it to a prior year model or is it too extensive? anybody know of this being done?

Dude !!


it is very do able

they all have the same body!!


you need to get the full front end - front gaurds, bonet, bumper, grill


I hate the late model **** too!!!

In hte past I've owned a 74 and a 76. I prefer the 74 since its less heavier than a 76. on the other hand, both years are so freaking heavy. here's a pix of our recent $400 transaction. no engine/tranny but it was complete and just faded/rusted paint... and oh yeah, it came with 2 brand new GSL-SE P-Port housings, and centerline rims. before and after pix

I mite not be on the rite page so some one is going to have to help me out here, what I see is two 75 RX4's, the front grill and the way the hood opens says so I think. I couldn't find a small pic og mine to post rite off the bat, but it is coming soon, mine is a 76

My 76 RXIV

So any how here it is, as you can see the front and rear bumper was removed to save wight and to give it a tow point, there are hing points rite in the middle there as you you can see, the OEM bumper just was in the way for a tow bar, yep I likes thems lites same in the rear for lites
