'69 Datsun 510 12a Turbo

Ok, I've had this car for a while and its finally approaching comletion. I wanted to put it up and get some insight from everyone here. My problem is in regards to tuning. Im looking to get a new tuner for the car. Im in socal. It has a Haltech F9, it made 390RWHP at 14psi on he dyno, but in the "real world" I EASILY cracked a couple side housings. Here is the list....12a turbo rotors, a ITS GT76 bb, jerico trans. I'd like to hear some input on the car! Thanks www.ammarsgallery.com/510

Exclamation Rotary 510

Wow, 390 rear wheel horsepower, thats smokin! I am going to be starting a rotary 510 project later this year. I have a series 4 turbo motor already. I am just looking for a clean 510 and I will be startin the project. Just wondering how you mounted the rotary in the 510? Did you make your own motor mounts or have them made? Also did you have to cut or pound out any of the firewall?

I had the motor mount installed/fabricated by rotaryshack.com and nope did not have to cut up the firewall at all, although the tranny tunnel had to be completely remade to accomodate the Jerico.....and BTW the 390 is just a light beginning, the motor Im assembling at the moment will be able to handle 30psi, and modestly expect it to make about 500-550RWHP.

Damn My dad runs a Corrola just like that.... with a 13b in it .... though it's not nearly in as good a shape as that....

it's a work-horse more than anything.... the boinger 1200 4c it had, died a suden and well deserving death, and I flatly refused to swap it with another boinger...

im bringing this post back from the dead cuz 510s are cool

How fast did it run the 1/4 mile?

How is it to drive on the street?

What suspension setup did you use to make it launch and handle well? ( ive heard that they need alot of help with both aspects).

You 510 is so baddass!
