Going to get it dyno'd at all ? I'd really like to see the graph on it.

The brakes drag on one side so that's getting fixed right now at the shop. Plus a posi diff unit was swapped in. It should be able to do easy donuts soon.

Hey it's 510 today.

The owner is getting an air fuel mixture guage so we can finally see how rich or lean that Edelbrock is. There is already an o2 sensor in the exhaust installed by the PO. That's convenient.

Very nice. What year is your 13b? I installed a 91 13b 6 port with a 7" SC in my Karmann Ghia. I finally drove it but had to change the distributor. It was misfiring at lower RPM's. Should be able to drive it tomorrow again.

'82 Y side plates, '74 rotor housings, street ports, '86-'88 rotating assembly, milled for 3mm apex seals. Nice project by the way.

Why the 74 housings? The exhaust port timing is different rite? Does this help in your super charger application?

'74 housings open early and close early. They are good for an SC, however, he ported them so all bets are off. I never had a chance to see them from the inside but they are kinda big from what I can tell looking through the exhaust sleeves.

The owner had to be talked into getting his FD dynoed (it did 205 at the wheels on a mustang dyno). He will need some great motivators to get the 510 dynoed, I'm sorry to say.

Just looking for the seat of the pants difference. See if it doesn't fall on it's face after 6500 rpm without the carb hat....
