reminds me too much of the new eclipse. the FD looks much much better. i agree with the above. they just need the 7 out of it before they go ******* up the name of the 7. they didnt go sporty enough with the 8. maybe a more built, 2 door, 2 seater version of the 8 would do. not naturally asperated unless they can get more power naturally aspirated

Honestly you can't say the 8's arent aggressive enough. Sure it has a backseat and actual practicality, but it will hold its own on a track. Even though it can't stay with a 7 in straight line performance, its much easier to probe its handling limits. Even though its doesn't have any turbos it makes almost as much bhp as 7's though natural aspiration. Sure it won't run 5 flat to 60 and low 13's in the quarter, but is just as fast as e46 m3's and 3rd gen rx-7's on a given track. All you would have to do is make it a two door, stiffen the rx-8 suspension, and add some power through a bigger two-rotor or a turbo, and you would have a really good and reliable sports car
