4th gen
any news on the 4th gen? RX-8 sales have done well, I've even hear better then expected. Well under cult hit, but then again it's not a 7

Any news?, anyone?

I'm sure the 7 is dead. Maybe they'll release a 2 door version minus the back seat of the 8, but I doubt they'll do a new 7.

last i heard the new 7 will come out in 06 if the 8 does good but thats about it and im sure you guys already knew that.

That appeared in a Car and Driver about a year ago, with no other magazines picking it up and C/D never mentioning it again.

CD did mention in a later issue that the powers that be met about a 4th gen and nixed it. I'll try to find the article. I think it was around March. Things don't look to promising.

I was thinking more along the line of making a march on Mazda in protest.

If they made one, one that is a real sports car, I would buy it and trade in my Lotus.

trade in your lotus to build a 26brew or re....use really big carbs and go from 4 turbos to 2....not so easy horsepower and torque to be gained...

um... please define what you mean by "rx7 evolv" I havent heard this being coined for the new 7.

The RX-Evolv was a concept for the RX-8, not the RX-7.
