Hey is it an older generation celica with a 4a-ge. I'm trying to put a 13b N/A into a ae86 so I'm wondering how you did the motor mounts.

No, the celica never came with a 4AG series motor, this came with the 2T series 1600cc.
Can you see the pics above? This shows you how the engine mounts were done... not easy but it is extremely strong. shoot me a Personal mail if you ant more info.

the car has the most serious and well made engine mount I have ever seen. it an engine plate between the front cover and the block, with the cover milled to accept the plate... and NO gaps, not even tiny, fractions of an inch. Note the engine with front cover off and plate installed. VERY NICE!

timbo is a legend!

I've always liked those old school Celicas. What happened to your engine bay, a fire or something? Its all nice and shiny black in the other pics.

ahahahaha.... yeah that was a fire! Lucky it wasnt my car tho... i got a burnt out shell to do all the fitting and fabriction in, so i wasnt banging motors around in the good cars engine bay. Once everything was finished i just took the crappy shell to the dump and got rid of it! Just drop the motor into the good car once and everything slotted straight up!

Ps - thakns for the kind words buzz... i will slip you that fifty later on..
