just a guest the sick is used to keep the car from rolling and it mite of been easyer to make the car a left hand drive with that motor.

Hey, sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I just found this video accidentally. Warwickben got it, the pipe the guy had was to keep the car from rolling away, since apparently (according to the driver) it doesn't have a "last break" by which i can only assume he means a parking break.

That was a sweet vid btw...

i talked to some one who said has done it. he said the hardiest part was making motor mounts and doing a whole new wiring job.

yeah. he said it wasnt that hard getting the motor in once he fab the brackets. he used all after market gauges and left most fo the body wiring alone.

i wold just use a painless kit and i agree on the aftermarket gauges which is good, but anyone can contact him about him selling or know anyone who can fab some mounts??

Hey it can be done my cousin did a swap on a corolla 82 it had a 1.8 engine. put a

12a and all he needed was to set motor mounts, it worked out good, he did this

about 10 years ago when he was 18 imagine now ,with all the technologies and

info on internet it can be done easier. you just got to want to do it,

i havn't talked to that kid in a while. just bolt the trany to the motor put it in the car with a life and get it is the right spot, measure and make some brackets.
