2 barrel on 13b

I have a Holley 650 2 barrel race carb. Anyone think this would work on a 13b BP?

looks like one of these with velocity stacks

Give it a try. Looks interesting. Where did you find that carb? I guess you would need some sort of an adaptor to fit onto a down draft manifold of somekind. Keep us posted.

I was told a good SP would be a better way to go for AX.. I will buy a manifold kit from Mazdatrix and make my own, I think adapting to a 4 barrel intake would kill low rpm performance...

So are you going to try it with the 2 barrel down draft manifold? I have never AX so I really don't know if you need to keep the rpm's up. Still keep me posted. Thanks.

Sounds like one heck of a good project. Some sidedrafts would be great though with large velocity stacks. Atleast they would look be awesome.

a holley 650 is a 4bbl so unless that is the combined flow of the 2 2bbls, i doubt one is that big. u'd need the 2 to 4 bbl adaptor to use it on the rb/mazdatrix holley intake. but it might work better on a modded downdraft intake for a weber/dellorto. but by the time u get an intake to work with these, u'd run out of under hood clearance for the air cleaner.

Get me the list number off the carb, they have a 300cfm one and a 500 cfm one. If it is the 500, the nikki manifold can easily be fabbed with a $20 adapter to work. Post the carb list number.

You are correct on the specs. That is a rare old school carb used for small block cars that were restricted to 2bbl carbs. Congrats on the find! I would love "that" carb for my camden.
