The car belongs to my Dad. I am trying to find out more about it and hoping this forum would be of help. I'm a Honda guy and I don't know a whole lot about classic Mazdas.

For example: I haven't been able to find much information on what a good condition & very low mileage RX4 is worth. I've done some digging in this forum, ebay, Hagerty's, ect. So far only RX4s I've found were is Australia and most of them were gutted drag cars with welded diffs and roll cages.

I'm not looking to sell per se, but I am curious if the car is worth selling or even taking to car shows. My Dad is retired and hardly ever drives it.

Thanks

Holy cow. Nice car. I'm sure someone here can tell you all about it. There's not many in that condition, I can confirm that.

That is an extremely clean car! For sure worth keeping and taking to car shows. I take mine to shows all the time. It always draws a crowd because people have no idea what it is and also have no idea how the engine works. Do some research and learn about the car. Then drive it with pride and show it off. The classic Japanese car market is growing all the time and these cars are increasing in value. Mine was appraised this year at $12,000.

12-15k seems to be about average for a nice original low mile 4 these days with no rust.

but finding a buyer may take years, so i'd probably start even higher like around 20-25k due to the severely low miles.

RX4 coupe is quite rare these days very nice!
I don't know much about the value but I am sure it's enough to be worth having an appraisal done for insurance purposes.

I think its worth $15K, but are you looking to sell it?

Beautiful example , like the colour combination . Thankfully it's a 4 or a 5 speed too....
I have a Mazda Workshop manual for the 1976 model , PM me if needed as I would like to sell it .

Outstanding Conditions, never seen a 1976 in original conditions. Two thumbs up.
