RX-8 winter beater project

It was not planned, it just happened.
I never was big fan of RX-8, but i ended up buying one with heavily overheated engine (coolant leaking outside the block when you try fill it in) and accidentally i had some extra parts laying around.

those are the pictures of condition in which i found it....
few broken/missing plastic pieces, scratch or ding here and there, otherwise in nice shape - only 70 000km on the clock, year 2004, 4 port, 5 speed...

Once i got it home, it was time to pull engine and start figuring out what to do with the car

As i knew rx8 block is not good and probably wont go back in, i started checking clearances and took extra photos to see whats where and how much room i will have.
