Your pan looks good! Send me some higher res pics if you get a chance (nholms@gmail.com). I finished mine. The fit was good, welds looked really good, and the flange was perfectly straight, but............ my tack locations and welding order were screwed. The bottom of the pan pulled about 1/4 of an inch in the center. It'd still work, but it would bother me, so I'm making it again.

How have I gone this long without seeing this?! An empty void in my life has been filled by reading this thread. This is honestly one of the most interesting projects I've seen in the 10 years I've been reading this forum. The workmanship is top notch with an attention to detail and thought process that few people could ever understand, let alone match.

Not being a big fan of muscle cars I've been waiting a long time for someone to do something different and unique and this is a perfect example. I sincerely hope that you are able to get it into as many shows as you can, one of them being the AutoRama in Detroit. My reasons are a bit selfish as I am there every year and it would probably be the only chance I would get to see this car in person. To be walking down row after row of big block V8 muscle car and then see a rotary Nova would probably make my year. Being a fly on the wall and listening to the discussion it generates would certainly be interesting! You need to use a hidden camera whenever you open the hood, edit all the video together, and then make a website.

Good luck with the rest of the project. It's clear that you are thinking carefully about each decision and planning all moves in advance, which comes from a lifetime of experience modifying vehicles.

Been out of town for work lately, so I haven't had a chance to work on the car much. Did manage to squeeze in the new radiator mount/shroud. It acts as the radiator and upper intercooler mounts as well as ducting to keep the aifrlow through the coolers.

Very little time to work on things, but I'm managing to squeze some in. Finished the new transmission cross-member. Much better looking than the old one....lighter too.

Also finished the new intercooler piping for the GT42r. The welding shop has a bead roller, which we put to good use.

As much as I'm out of town right now, I'm thinking August or so. For once, money isn't the problem.....time is.

Can't wait to see some old schools look under the hood. Be like watching a stripper with nice **** pulling off "his" shorts to show a little surprise, lol. (maybe you could get on a Maury episode)
