This is the seller's story as I found it on the RX-3 CLUB.NET forum:
Aunt died several years ago, and I bought her 73 RX-3 Wagon from the estate. It was one of my hopes to restore and drive but that just doesn't look like it's going to happen. It was purchased in 1974 during the gas shortage with 22,000 miles. She drove it until she bought a new Citation in 1980. Car was then parked in the garage(dry) and driven a few times. Last time it was tagged was in 1989. The odometer now shows 77,000 miles which I am sure is accurate. It does not appear to have any rust through, the driver seat is split and the paint is faded. Carpets appear to have been covered, and looks pretty good. I seriously doubt that it will start as hasn't run since around 1990. It is a silver-gray color with black interior, automatic, and factory air. I just needed the space, and pulled it outside about a week ago. Have pictures available. Located about 30 miles south of Kansas City on the Kansas side. Have title. Do not have any idea what it is worth but in the condition it is in I would think, more than scrap, for restoration or parts. Would like to see it go to a good home rather than scrap yard. So in reading the above story, I gave him a call, and he send me pictures!!! I was very impressed, and well I could not resist!!! I bought it, it arrived today, and being that it is Lucky wagon #7 for me, I'm keeping this one for sure !!! I will take picture as I go along!!!

pepsicat, not sure about what to do with the motor until I open to see what I can work with and try to work with it, or just do a newer 1st generation RX-7 12A and auto trans, or get the pedals and make it 5 speed with newer 1st gen 12A!!! I cleaned the engine bay, hood, and interior yesterday but the interior is not exactly the way I want it, but here are some before and afters!!!
