12A Rotary
i think the twin dizzy was before 74, i want to say 72. as for changing to single, it's just a matter of swapping out the front cover. just remember if u do this IN the car, depress the clutch pedal and use something to keep it down. this will keep the thrust bearings/washers from falling down when removing the front pulley.
The twin dizzy engine has one less long through bolt. The twin dizzy engine is unique and the only main parts that interchange with a single dizzy are the rotors and e-shaft. I've looked at changing a twin dizzy front cover with a 12A RX-7 one and I don't think it's possible.
I have a lot of twin dizzy parts including rebuild kits.
