my theory was better to take out a stock n/a motor and replace with an ls3, rather then do that to a nice turbo car, i mean, they look the same body wise so if your swaping it out might as well leave the stock turbo cars alone

apparently most of the 944 owners swap ls1 engines with the camero accessory tree, and some other misc. camaro parts. yea so next weekend i am doing the clutch, silicone vacuum lines, hawks hps pads, and the venturi deletion. so thats gonna take all weekend, its quoted at 20 hours for doing it at home. but i have a friend who has a boxster and is used to doing outrages things to get parts off. when everything is running right for exapmle the clutch not slipping in boost. i will detail the car take some nice pics and make a quick video of a freeway on ramp pull. oh and parts arent as exspensive for these cars as people think.....except for the clutch, ball joints, and any dealership parts. the clutch was 900$. redmond European (like corksport but for Porsche Audie and BMW) quoted the work 12 hours and they charged 100$ an hour so thats never gonna happen. but yea i will post pics with a much better camera ina couple of weeks

for parts try:
www.autohausaz.net - they sell OE stuff at great prices.
or
www.pelicanparts.com
or
http://www.fcpgroton.com/ don't know if they have porsche stuff, but worth a try.

Very nice pic by the way. if thats your wife or girlfriend your lucky lol. girls that actually know stuff about cars are too hard to find

if you have a good attitude, honest, and have a goal with your life, you will find a good girl, trust me the keepers look at these quality in high regard. The ones you wanna toss back to momma look for a douchebag guy.
having a turbo 951 is a bonus, but don't bring it out until the 3rd or 4th date
and she does know about cars, except she didn't think a mazda could be fast and never even heard of a rx-7 before she met me haha, now she knows about different types of engine porting, meth injection, how a rotary design works and can even smell the difference when I premix and when I forget. Her brother was a member on the formula Renault ameture team when she lived in france, and here in washington she drives a 930 targa turbo and a track ready 944 faster then I fell comfortable, speed is in her blood

lol have you ever driven one? not all but most people that say that havent or say they have when they really havent. i love rx7's and will buy another one next year, but stock to stock 951's are on a different level then turbo 2's. but its all about what you like, and rx7's just have weird charm to them...when they work anyways. i could never truly stay away from rx7's

951 = flawless victory. I want one but the usual 8k+ price tag and the fear of maintenance & repair on a 20 yr old turbo porsche scares me away :P **** looks awesome mang

Today, driving south on 405 was a silver 944... a small collection of stickers on the drivers side q window. I had a lil porshe-gasm, then he nailed it and I followed. Had a lot of fun mirroring him, but ended up doing 110 on 405 SB. mmmmmm.
