How many cars/people typically show up to these meets? XXX isn't super big so it sounds like it could get packed.

70% chance of rain for Issaquah on Sunday. I assume this is a rain or shine meet but it is going to be raining and 40 degrees out so I don't think I am up for that.

Too Many Rainmakers

Huge turnout, but too many rainmakers - you know, those people who get out the chamois and the towels and start wiping the water off their cars. Of course as soon as they are done, it starts raining again.

Met some interesting people. A lot of rotorheads stopped by and chatted. I thought there were more interesting cars at the Golden Gardens meet last year.

This whole stance trend needs to end. That's how it was. I didn't stay long.

my 0.02. stancing cars is for people that don't really want to mess with performance upgrades of their car. It's cheaper and easier to buy wheels and lower your car then it is to upgrade a turbo system and tune the fuel map. For that reason it will probably not stop any time soon. People like to modify cars which is fun, but in the end most people can't have their car taken apart for 8 months while they figure out how to get real performance upgrades working correctly.
