Holy hell is it hot! If anyone has any stories/pics/info in regards to the Temperature outside it would be interesting to hear/see them...

Man I really hope its not still in the 90's on Saturday, have a wedding to go to. Today was the first hot and sunny day I had to actually put the top up, was too damn hot to bare and the leather burns

and I would like to add I get to work on my car tonight (yay for finally getting the wheels done!) in this record breaking heat in my non-air conditioned garage

 

but its a dry heat.......

Heres i a tip thats helping me out, get a small towel and drench it in cold water and just have it hang over your head. I guarantee it will keep you cool for at least 2 hours until you need to put some more cold water over your head.

BTW i thought of the cold beer thing also....but to my dismay im a bit hammered now and this feeling combined with this heat was bad idea.......baaadd idea.

 

It's not a dry heat on the West side here... It's sticky

 

Days when the vert was a better idea to get haha... its just to bad am not able to be driving mine right now.

 

wish my shop had ac, 94 deg in my shop and i have to wear steel toes and pants (carharts) not cool, ended up setting up a fan by my press brake and not leaving it at all

 

Hahahaha. I throw the wet towel in the freezer, then throw it on my head. :P

I been wanting to go to a beach or some water place. Maybe Alder Lake??

Its my fault for the weather guys. After we got that little bit of rain last week( my top was down and that pisses me off) i decided to sacrifice some virgins to the sun god............

LOL... you guys! Imagine living in this? For some folks elsewhere, this is just another day! I must say though, when it finally hit 105 today, i had a remembrance of why i moved here.. The day i moved from LA, it was 106.........

But i still like it!

Here's a trick/tip.... stop, take a breath, take off your shirt, and just absorb it, dont fight it, just breathe in the heat and it feels alot better, for instance, right now- im pretending that im in mexico, and its March.

I guess it's better than Michigan though, where it gets this hot but humid. then in the winter... well you can assume haha

 

Our Power went out at my house on Tuesday because the line hanging over the road had gotten hot and sagged low enough for a truck to snag on it.. Man, was it hot... I have been soaking down my shirt before leaving work and after getting home to try and stay cool.

I saw this couple out jogging when it was like 105 degrees, they were all joggin across the street, like yeah its hot but we're awesome cause we stay in shape or whatever, then they both stopped and looked like they were going to pass out. I just lol'd...

Why would you go jogging in 105 degree temps?

I don't mind it too much, but it is a little too hot... Just remember just a few months ago, when everyone was getting SNOW'd on?

This wasnt even the hottest thermometer i saw, its just the only one i got a pic of, the one near my house read 114 in the sun(this pic is in the shade), and then read "-ER3-", lol... Too hot to register or somthing.......

Unfortunately you are correct... It was a pitiful display by the pool today. My candy wasn't out there. Weaksauce. And I was too busy to meander around the pool so that helped out a little

 

The heat fried my car steiro, and my TV. But I've been staying cool at the river the last 4 days. Lots of boobies, lots. Sorry I don't have a camera phone, and I have a GF so no pics. it never happend

my yoohoo belt decided to snap on my way home from work in downtown PDX. I was on I-5 by the 217 interchange at 3pm dressed in black. When my friend came to pick me up, his car thermometer said 114. Not fun.

 

i was rocking my vert for the whole week and it was AWESOME. oh and my seats are not leather, so i win

 

Today is a much better day to be poolside at my work, candy everywhere!!! Yayyy. Can't take pics I'll get fired, but it happened!

 

I went shirtless in my buddies navigator one of the hot days. The temperature was 98f at 9.30pm. When I went to leave the navi my skin was literally stuck to the seat, it felt like I had my back covered in duck tape then have someone rip it off super fast. OUCH
