Where did you get your 7 painted and for how much?

I am going to use my tax refund soon for a GOOD quality paint job. I'm looking for the seattle area but wouldn't mind driving out a bit for a good priced paint job.

Where did you guys go and how much did it cost for the whole car? with body work etc.?

Thanks,

Like I always say, Queen City Auto Rebuild gets my vote. They work on high end luxury cars most of the time. www.queencityautorebuild.com

For a cheaper alternative but great results, Juanita Auto Collison http://www.juanitaauto.com

Listen to female drivers, they have experience! Just kidding Mai

+1 for Stage in Kirkland. Pretty reasonable prices for thei work, if you're looking to have bodywork done it's not gonna be easy to find a cheap price anywhere. That takes the most time and money.

They do excellent work though.

I took my car here to get the rear wing installed and painted. They gave me an estimate and said it would take about 5 days. They had a very hard time matching the Montego Blue so in the end it ended up being almost 2 weeks and more than double the estimate. They did call me back in and ask me about the extra cost before they did it, but what was I going to do leave with a car that obviously didn't match? I don't think so. Unfortunately when I picked up the car I was so glad to have it back I didn't inspect it as well as I should have and later found the inside cover for the outter door handle was broken and there is one spot on the drivers side of the roof where, under bright sunlight, the color is still way off. Don't know if I'd go back.

If you are in the corvallis area i advise you to STAY AWAY from FREEBIRD autobody and paint... They are by far the worst company in oregon... Large face, small town mind set and **** poor work....

I had mine painted a couple of years ago by Huddleson's in White Center. They did an outstanding job. It looked better than when I bought the car new back in '82! It wasn't cheap, but the quality was worth it.

Hey, accidents happen regardless of sex. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as it could have been. It wasn't the first time and I know it won't be the last.

I also had a bad experience w/ Stage auto on my old MR2 for mechanical work. They replaced the clutch, but forgot to re-install the connecting pins for the shift cables. I ended up without 2nd or 4th gear on my way home from the shop.

I just had my 99 spoiler painted and installed by Kansai in Seattle. These guys did great work and were faster than my expectations. Their price was about in line with what I expected. Overall I was pleased with the transaction

I can 2nd Kansai - my roomie had his full FD painted there, price was ~5k for a cobalt blue color if I remember correctly, but it was a great job and the car looks top notch all around.
