Keep your eyes out for someone parting this out or trying to sell it! I got an email from a guy who was wondering if anyone wanted to sell me parts from a red 82 rx7 gsl... He told me its his sons car and was stolen the other night, he asked me to keep an eye out so i thought more eyes might help!

do you know a plate number i live in salem and i will not hesitate to follow it and give the cops turn by turn directions right to it. Cause one thing you never mess with is a mans rotary!!!

Any Identifying marks, stickers, scratches anything that might stand out that may be visible if we can't read the plates... or they swapped the plates...? Pictures?

I cant beleive someone stole a 1st gen. Bastard probably didn't even know what it was. I really need to get a key made so I can start locking my doors. And get around to installing a kill switch.

whats messed up is 90% of all first gen keys will work on any other first gen.. I have three keys from three different rx7's i have parted in the last few months, each one works on my doors and ignition... Most toyota keys work as well.... If you ever worry about your car getting stolen get a new ignition or a good alarm..Or a big F-ing dog,lol...

 

Dogs only work sometimes. I've got 2 pits I keep at my GF's house. Her house has been broken in to with the dogs. Pit bulls are not good gaurd dogs. one of them is 100+ pounds. They just love people.

 

The pit bulls wernt raised right.

Many of my friends have pit bulls, one the size of a chuwawa had more ***** than my friends lab/pit mix that's gigantic.

My other friends blue nose would get very violent but he looked at the owners expressions, I could act like I was hurting the dog n wrestle but if the owner said somthing or made a signal, he'd go deathly mode. He'd also stop at command, was nice.

Little kids would be frightened of the dog, then as they walked by he'd lick their face lol, so cute.

Sucks to hear about the car.

i got a email from a someone about a post for wanting an engine i have on craigslist, i asked him for some info on the 82 gsl he was trying to sell, and he dissapeared, i gave the guy his number and told him to take a look at the car, but to treat it as a legit sale untill he has a reason to think other wise.... The email it just kinda suspisious thats all i have gotten so far. I hope there will be some progression to the case though. I would be beyond pissed to find my rotary gone!!!

 

Just got a motor from a guy in Salem. Asked him if he knew where to get any red fenders... just incase. He said no, however he did hesitate. hrmm.. Do you have any info on the motor of the car that was stolen? such as what kind of oil filter it had? rebuilt? Reman? any leaks or other things that may help ID it?

I'll keep my eyes and ears open! That looks just like my 84GS! I can really feel for the guy, I'd kill any bastard that touched mine after all the hours and money to get her up and runnin. NEVER SCREW WITH A MANS ROTARY!!!!
