What shop to get a tune up at eastside area?

I want to get a tune up on my 1st gen can anyone recomend a good shop in the eastside area. What would a shop do on a tune up because if I know what to look for I could do it myself. I am almost sure that I need a new fuel filter and the timing reset could these be causing my backfiring problems.

Call Lee Johnson Mazda and ask for Scott Trail, the service manager. Tell him what you need and ask him for a price estimate. They are not the cheapest, but they will definitely do it right.

Yeah thats where I was thinking of going, not to be an *** but Scott Trail is the Mazda service writter not the service manager. When you take your seven to LJ's always ask for Corky Gere to work on it, he is the best tech around when it comes to rotories, that is who I always had do my work when I was employed their.

Everybody Has a Favorite

To each his own. I always have had Doc Westlund work on my cars at Lee Johnson, and I would swear by his work, but they have more than one good tech. Back when I was rebuilding a lot of wrecked RX-7s, Scott ran the parts department. The folks there have always treated me right.
