what did you do to your rx7 today
 

soo i saw a thread started on nwn a while back thought it might be kinda fun to start on here

what did you do to or with your rx7 today?

i installed alternator and hit up the twisties and got some drifting in... with a suspended license lol.

did some more fiberglass work to the front fenders,starting on the airdam next.

I cursed it and every other one in my drive way. Then I went back to sleep. :p

I didn't do anything today to mine, but over the weekend I washed, claybar'd, washed, cleaned/polished the wheels, then a coat of Meguires swirl remover, then covered/garaged so I can finish waxing this weekend.

I bought a dial indicator, 2 jaw pullers and a few odds and ends to replace the 4.10 stock gears with 4.77. Ordered some camber bolts to replace the old tired ones, and some nice new boots for the ball joints in the front end.

well i yelled a ton of curse words at it due to the coolant seal then drove it home cursing even more and eventually said f it and tried to get it to actually blow up. great day!

i got rid of some of the rattling on the interior parts that were annoying the hell out of me. stereo surround and that fucking ashtray haha

God changing those ball joint covers SUCK. We tried and failed, even with the snap on tool on adams silver car.

well it wasn't me but some bird thought it was cool to place there poop on my windshield.

i know it's not a 7 but i pulled the axles out of my RX-3SP to have them redrilled to five lug,and got some of the undercarrage pwdercoating back,oh and the new stripes will be done hopefully by wednsday so i can finish the body work and paint it,then my 7 is next.

Not 7 but, I finally got to rolling the fenders on Bob's RX-4 GT-R. It has GSL-SE suspention on the front However with this modification it sat about 2" off the ground. Gambone made some spacers for the strut assemblys, we got those installed and now it sits about 4" off the ground. Plenty of clearence in the fender wells now too.

Is the 7 that white Wide body you scored a while back?
I noticed you were selling a white whaletail like the one that was on it..

...... sigh........ Nothing, its hiding under the car covers and tarps.. :(

I checked weather.com to find out the next dry day we will have so I can take it out of the garage.

Today I did alot!
 

I finished up tidying my deloomed harness and reloomed. Then I wired my HEI ignition modules to the dizzy and coils for my DLIDFIS, wired fuel pump up w/relay, installed throttle lever on my weber, fabbed a quick bracket and connected throttle. crawled underneath and connected starter to relocated battery, and finally found a temp, fan rad combo to work. Put a little MMO in the housings and prepped her to be started for the first time since I brought her home! tomorrows the day. Run baby run!:egrin:

yes that is the one,unfortunatly i rear ended someone last year.i finally got a free parts car a few weeks ago for the rebuild.so i am building 2 cars at once.

i dont have an rx7 :( even though there is currently 6 rx7's out front..none of them are mine :(

Washed my cars and gave the fd some much needed attention, I havent driven it in like two months...made it feel loads faster since I have been driving a stock sti :nod:.

today i put my injectors in the red 7, then went and worked with my buddy on his rb20 corolla and took it out for its maiden voyage.

PAINTED JAYCES WIDEBODY!!! and Took the doors off my 7. She got neglected yesterday she sat outside while jayces was in the garage

well i did this today, super stiff suspension + light ass end = fml im going around in circles going 60. was going around a corner and the ass decided it wanted to kick out due to the wet pavement. hit a stupid fence post, i had almost managed to miss it but still hit it right on the blinker. oh well at least it wasnt one of my 7's

Nice. I was doing the same thing on Friday to a 6 port. The compressor blew a relay though so I'm hoping to be porting away again on Monday if I can find the part. I just need a duel contact single throat relay switch. Shouldn't be to hard to find. Hope to find it soon, I have 2 bridgeports to do.

Installed my FEED torque Damper.with Custom bracket.

broke a piece of my subframe after getting the pieces that i needed to fix another part of it. freaking sweet.

upgraded to an s5 alternator, it still seems a bit low with everything on with the efan tho...

Pulled off my waterpump and crammed it full of black rtv hoping that fixes the lesk for the time being. Added a ghetto home deopt drifter ass lip. Added more carbon to the front air dam.

Drove it to the store (100 miles away) for a lofe of bread.

Well yesterday, went for a little 45 mi cruise up on Old Skyline Rd. Ran a bunch of logs on the RTEK and I'm still seeing 10 afr's between 4300-4900 6-8 psi. Looking to do more driving/logging next Sunday if the weather's good. :) Jinxd my brother in law went, srry.

painted my hood, s5 mirrors, vented headlight cover and got a new s4 bumper and painted it as well. also got a new headlight retractor motor, and did some body work behind the drivers door. MY CAR IS ALL RED AGAIN!!

swapped out my suspension for r1 suspension.

Installed BOV, and boosted, alot...maybe too much.... cursed my exhaust leak.

Moved branches off of it, then parked a hachi and a truck in front of it

went 100mph to see if the ghetto ass garden home depot lip did anything. WTF the 85-95mph wobble is gone! Home Depot owns my car!!! I'm painting this beach orange!!

Today I layed in 2 inches of muddy water and removed my starter. Bought a new one, crawled back into the muck and installed it (twice), then ran a new ground wire just to be safe. When it was all said and done, the damned battery didn't have enough juice to turn the motor, so, maybe tomorrow?:(:scratch:
