Well after I sold my first FC, I bought a S13 with a CA in it, it was fun until the timing belt tension bearing seized and the motor went bye bye. I then traded for a hachi-roku, and now traded for another FC. I call her the angry panda. It is a 1990 GTU. It has Tein strut tower bars (front and rear), apexi coilovers, exedy clutch (stage 1), and turbo II big brakes. My plans are to drop in a TII motor this summer and who knows what else. Probably get a real paint job instead of the rattlecan job.

welcome to the scene monjack. Hey, did you happen to drive your fd around the area on saturday?

 

Just wanted to introduce myself a little bit... I just purchased an 87 RX-7 with a stage 2 rebuilt 13b from RX-7world.com. with polished rotors and 3rd gen corner seals. It's not the cleanest car out there but it's very fun! This is my first venture into the rotary world and hopefully not my last. I was also wondering if there are any rotary-wise mechanics in the Tri-Cities area. The car doesn't need anything done, but it's always nice to know someone. I look forward to gathering new information and hopefully being able to provide some!

A few pictures I took about a week ago.... I had only waxed the front fenders and the hood, so that's why the paint looks different. When I finish it up tomorrow night (hopefully!), I will take a few more pictures since it looks much better now!

 

I just got my new baby a month ago to the day...
she needs alot of work.. I feel a little in over my head at the moment..
but im sure she will be road ready by summer....
any one know a good place to get the car tuned? hopefuly in washington?

Monjack are you rolling around with a FMIC? I've seen a red touring around Everett and Marysville and no one is claiming it and it sure as hell isnt's mine. I too live in Lake Stevens and depending on how long you've lived here you may know my car... If you ever need any help with the car hit me up

 

Thanks Upgrayedd, im new to lake stevens and i have not seen you around yet but im sure i will, my FD is SMIC not FMIC so the one you have seen is not me... Im still working on a few issues and hope to be a part of the Steve Kan tuning session that zack4137 is trying to hook up. cuz my FD needs to be tuned before I realy take it out ...

ya I have been looking forward to summer and getting together with other 7 owners... I love the cars and its cool to see the creative ways peeps hook them up..

I got it cheap... But it had issues trust me!

 

ya i thought so i was talking to the guy who had it and he said he wanted like 1500 for it and youll get the issues worked out

WHAT UP! seems like there are more 7's out in lake stevens then I thought....

 

Looks like I started a trend lol There is another FD out here owned by some guy who lives on the lake

 

Will be in the Tacoma area tomorrow visiting my Dad. So be on lookout for my FD on the highway.

got the car all cleaned up and back on the road....
and then i got pulled over ten min. later !
but the cop was hella cool and I didnt get a ticket....
he just asked me like 20 questions about the car...

 

That sounds like something that would happen to me. I took my front plate off a couple of weeks ago and the same day got a ticket for not having it on... turned out it was my boss screwing with me and put a fake ticket on my car.
