Washington Rx-7 Owners
The older 3SGTE's are suppose to be better. IDK much about them. I am just getting into the Mr2's.
My friends has 210,000 miles and it would blow up if you ran it past 8,000. HAHA. We shift at like 6k so it will maybe have a chance of lasting longer.
I want a 3rd gen RX7 so bad it is not even funny. It is one of my dream cars to have before i turn 30.

My 93 was somewhat different from your friend's 91, but similar enough that they should be comparable in power with equivilent mods. There is not much point in shifting a near-stock 3SGTE past 5500 haha... There was a guy on the MR2oc that had a 400+ whp MR2 turbo that was on the un-opened 200,000+ miles stock block. He raced it with great success in the PA hillclimbs, though I think the motor finally bit the dust a year or two ago...
Graduate from college with an employable degree, then getting a 3rd Gen RX-7 isnt such a far off dream anymore.
haha on the subject of 3stge, my buddy just got one with a big aftermarket turbo that runs about 12 or 13 on the 1/4... its in great condition but we recently were goin home from a crazy night and we decided to go a little fast on the freeway home, i got on it on this onramp that was pretty sharp and so did he but he got cut off by a big moving truck and cut in very hard so we stopped after we got off the freeway and pulled over at a park and his wheel had about 2 inches of clearance from his body when the other were flush lol.. long story short lug nuts were all loose on that wheel, one broke off and it was wobbling all the way home because he didnt have a torque wrench and i found a bunch of metal shavings from the wheel spacer lol
^THAT SUCKS^
WHOOPS! is right. . . althogh the winter did a number on my 7. . . killed the water pump and every seal that could shrink did. Slave died and had to re bleed it and the brakes as well. That and my heater core gave my carpet a wash as well. SWEET!

ya i know, thats why i got myself a 900 sqft shop to keep her in. But i had to go see about a girl and then got her stuck. *sigh* sometimes i wonder where my head is at. . .But at least it was safe in a driveway surrounded by big trucks so nobody could hit it. I cant say the same for a lancer that i pass on my way to work, got crunched when it was snowy. HARD! but she is home now and safe.
Just about the only time i listen to them is when i am working on my car in the shop. Which is usually like 4AM-4PM. So i get to listen to all the good stuff.
