Update... Not Much
Well I am still looking for a white or black N/A hood for my car. One that doesnt have dents all over. If anyone is interested I'll trade + $50 for my TII hood. If you have an Alum N/A hood ill just trade ya, how does that sound? I've already pm'ed Kouta about the hood, but i doubt he will be online anytime soon.
Anyway I called Corksport today about a price quote for a rebuild.
Basic TII rebuild is about $2900
Porting $300
Hopefully everything with my motor is ok, just that i need to change the apex seals.
Anyways this is what I'm looking for
-Basic Rebuild
-Rebuild Turbo
-Bigger Oil Ports
-Medium street port front
-Big street port rear
Do you guys think a bridge port will be neccessary? Or does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Kouta is online on nopistons from time to time. I don't see him around here to much. I have primer black hood that I would trade + $50 but I don't think you would want a hood you would have to paint. Definately get a hold of Kouta as he DEFINATELY needs a TII hood more than the rest of us.

Hey Z-Beater do you know anyone or does anyone here know anyone that has an Alum welder? From who I know no one has one, only for steel. If thats the case then there might be a chance i'll have to go steel for the hood.
Oh and I've decided not to get my car done at corksport. I've spent too might money on that damn v-mount, so im going to continue to see if dDub would be able to help. Hopefully he can or someone else he know, becasue I'd like to spend as little money as possible. I know my front rotor is fine, just the rear has low compression and i doubt the insides are all messed up.

I got all my welding done by horsepower connection here in Olympia. He operates out of his house so hourly rates are really cheap.
I agree on doing the work yourself. Nothing better than taking time and doing the work yourself. Aside from saving money you gain knowlegde. I try to follow this as much as possible. However there are times that you do not have the tools to do it(ie alum welder).
I will be taking out the rest of my motor tonight. And then I am going to rebuild it. Kettleman is going to stand behind my shoulder to make sure that I do everything right. Should I be scared? If you want to come out and check out the process you are welcome to.

what were your compression numbers on the rear rotor?? to be honest most of the time if you lose compression on a rotor it generally means somethin broke, and that ususally messes up the housing and rotor
yeah a few of us need to build motors really soon... me being one of them
ive also got a white steel hood

Hey yea I'd love to drive down to check the project out. Though um, where exactly do you live?
The only problem with my rebuild is that fact there is no space. I live in Condos, so they don't allow anyone to work on there cars. It sucks i know, but that is why I'm looking for someone else to help me and use there space. Of course I would pay them for their time and help, just don't want to pay far out the *** for some shop to do it.
