WA ugh... car wrecked

i wrecked my 88 rx7. lost traction and went in to a pole. apparently this pole is famous for getting smashed in to. or at least thats what the body shop next to it said. these people at the body shop let me store my car there over night... ugh. horrible day.. i was on my way to get gas T_T. im unlucky. this is my second wreck in less than a year.. >_<. whatever i guess. i want to get a shell and swap my motor in or something.. any advice or whatever?

rx7s have good traction up to a point. Then they let loose fast. Gotta love LSD.

Used to driving Hondas?

I haven't ever had any problems racing my RX. I race legally. But, no problems with handling at all. The weight distribution on it is awesome, so the rear doesn't come out hard, and it doesn't understeer too much either.

I shouldn't say much as I was an ******* on the kirkland onramp for abo an hour backwards. Had grandams all around. . . Sucked big. Tow bill and a ticket from the stater yay. Bad tires and wet roads are not nice. But now I have grandmas on the rear and r888s on the front heehee. You will grow to like the overseer my friend.

Damn that sucks. First rainy day after a period of long sunshine, I always go slow now regardless of what car I'm driving.

Hope everything works out for the better.

you really did show that poles whos boss.
you might want to check all of the stuff around the damage area to make sure there still good.
were you trying to be m4d tyte str33t racing driftro and hit understeer or something?

Condolences. But that looks like a classic case of "target fixation." Hit that pole dead center. You were looking at the pole and hit it dead on rather than looking where you really wanted to go. A shame. Car looks repairable though.
All the Best,
Crispy

I'm sure you can find a shell cheap. or just find one that was hit from the rear and swap the front clip. You can probably fix that without spending a fourtune.
