Tukwila races last night
Well lets face it....it's more of a car show nowadays instead of races since no one has the ***** to do anything.
Anyway.....My friend and I went down there last night, he in his 300z and me in my 7. I kept running into a silver s4 with an aftermarket wing and a white FB. They were pretty fast....I've a stock s5 and they seemed to be going a little faster than me. I cruised with them for a little while until we turned down 212th passed the Wendys....from there my friend and I broke out and went to a vacant lot to practice slides.
Sound familiar to anyone here?

i wouldnt be caught dead at the races anymore...im just baiting myself to get a ticket just being in the area. Besides last few times i went there wasnt much that happened..tons of people..0 action. Id rather do some %60 throttle practice runs in a very non-populated and secluded area.

If you are into racing, you should come out to bremerton raceways for an autocross or pacific raceways for drag racing (some folks will be there this Weds.) No risk of the $1000 ticket and very little drama.

yeah it's pretty stupid....like I said it's just a car show now, mostly rich poser kids in evos and STi's. There are a ton of good empty warehouse parking lots down there though so while the cops follow the entourage of Hondas, my friends and I go the other way to practice our J-turns and 90's somewhere else.

Too bad they never race. Every once in awhile one will step up but it's usually Hatchs vs. Integras all night long.
I didn't see any 944's. what time did you show up and where were you staged at?

I went a couple times just to meet up with buddies and there was only ONCE a car that would give my car a run, and that's not me saying my car is amazingly fast and unbeatable. It's just a fact. The guys out there who talk about how fast their cars are and then go run a 15 second quarter mile are not worth racing. My buddy was telling me about his friend's Civic and how I should race him cuz it's really fast and he's got 5 different motors he swaps in and out... Come to find out the guy's car "all motor" runs low 15s... And he's full of **** and doesn't have a turbo motor that he runs. Wow what a surprise! I raced once. It was an SRT4 and he got beat 3 out of 3 =) It feels really good to hand someone their first loss ever. I avoid the scene cuz it's all about who can talk their **** up the best and make the biggest idiot of themself.
