thinking of removing my power steering

Hi all. I need to find a FC with a manual steering rack and take it for a drive! I know it might be hard in this weather, but I just need to see what it feels like. Any takers?

Thanks

It's much harder to turn than a manual rack by a long shot. I just got all the parts to hook mine back up. Wifes 7 is much easier to turn than my yellow vert without the pump. Guess what I'm saying is if you don't want the power steering replace it with a manual rack cuz the power rack with no pump really suck.

A improperly de powered power steering will feel like crap with all the resistance of the fluid still inside. I just want to take a drive in a manual rack none power steering fc, and see what it feels like.

love it:
RARE RX7 86-91 FC3S MANUAL STEERING RACK.
are they really that rare? I have 3 of them and have not been able to unload them on the FS forum in 2 years...
tweak, you can just swap out the PS for a manual rack and zip tie the ps rack out of the way (lol).
i've seen more people moving from manual to PS for drifting than the other way, but who knows. My TII had a manual rack and it was a pos to park and move at low speed, but once you were moving, it was not that different.

hey, lets chain one of the manual steering rolling shells to the f250 and i'll take you for a ride you will not soon forget!! road or off road, your choice.

(remind me to tell you about the time my dad pulled me home in the merkur in 2 feet of snow- talk about father son bonding)
