sway bars?
sway bars?
hey i was woudering if anybody know of a company that made a bigger sway bars then eibach and tanabe? they are about 22mm in front and 18mm in back give or take.
Online info shows the ST front bar for the S4 is 28.5mm and the S5 front bar is 27. Their rear bar is 19mm though, which is bigger than the RB, Eibach or Tanabe rear bars (not that you'd really want a larger rear bar in most cases).

o i am just used to honda's and subie's where the stiffer the better. with my s4fc i am planing on drifting and i am just tired of the body roll so i thoughti would start basic. so which one whould you guy recomend st or tanabe (rear wise)?

You can't real go wrong unless you mix and match different brands. A front and rear set were designed to work good together. As far a getting a good drift set up? Well not to many of us actually drift are cars on a regular basis. Only Angery Earl does that I know. He might chim in.
if you wanna drift. I BELIEVE you want the least amount of traction in the back, and the most in the front. which means the strongest **** in the back, and not so much in the front. massive springs and struts in the rear, swaybar etc. But yeah, you don't want to mix your component makes too drastically.

Tanabe sways are great, and will most likely eliminate some/most of that body roll you speak of.
For drifting, like most other motorsports, you really want to have a balanced suspension setup...simply getting sways might satisfy your suspension desires on the short run, but saving up for fully adjustable coilovers (Stance's are niiiice), getting decent bushings (Prothane), DTSS rear toe eliminators, and subframe spacers (Uras, etc.), are things you'll really want to consider as you go along. You'll also eventually want some type of LSD (pref. a 2-way...Tomei, Cusco, Kaaz, etc.), you'll do a better job of getting both tires spinning.
