steering question

ok so i do hav an idea of what bump steering is but i am not 100% sure that is what is it. just need somebody to clear it up for me of what is bump steering? ps sorry for the numbie ?

You get bump steer on most cars which have had drastic changes in ride height. Jacked up 4x4's and slammed cars have had the factory suspension geometry altered so much that when suspension travel occurs, it steers whichever way you hit a bump.
