^That remark reminds me of a bumper sticker that reads:
Work harder! People on welfare depend on you. lol

Well, off topic, but free bump anyways

Thats fine... but when you sign up for welfare... sign up for a ABF package as well, while your at is... LOL....

but what i meant was... certain forum members and their families have worked really supper hard to get this going...just cause they love/live the rotary and want to have a good time....So the least we can do is SHARPIE in a few days on our calendars wayyyy in advance ( five months n advance?) and drop a few dollars on a good time.

I am super excited! the last 2 years i went ( minus 07) were one of the highlights of my year(s)

I totally agree with you I am sure a lot of hard work and effort is going into this as well as the past events. Hopefully it will happen again, with people signing up. As I have been to the last two events and had nothing but good memories. I don't dog the fact that we have been preparing this at such a early stage as to give everyone a heads up, and to make this happen again. The only thing is its going to be tough to get people to schedule it in so far away. I understand the reasoning behind it (ie funding this event, and reserving the hotel). But a lot of people are still going to wait till close to the last days, when things will be more certain. And it still sounds like this event isn't completely stable yet, either.

Just to let you know, this event is a go no matter how many people attend this year. Every year this is started this early on. Yes, it is tough at such an early stage to sign up, and if people sign up later on thats certainly a good thing too. I just need a month before the actual event to know how many t-shirts, dinners, to order.

Hotel just takes the extra rooms away from us after a certain date is all, so if some wait till the last minute, I cant promise they will get a room.

Event is completly stable regardless if we have 2 people or 100 people.lol

So far we have 17 people signed up

Thanks for your input

Yeah bummer for you, the event is on Friday and Saturday. The event is in Wenatchee on May 2-4.

Thats why we sorta let everyone know about this event so far in advance so if they need to request time off

Just to let everyone know. Menlo Mazda who usually sponsors us every year, will not be offering the rotor watches any longer. They have been discontinued.

BUT
Menlo Mazda from what I hear through the Grapevine is willing to offer an item(s) for our raffle that are well over $500+ in value.

This item(s) is well worth a trip to Apple Blossom. (theres two of them, and they go as a set). The only way you will be able to win this set item(s) (that any rotor person alive would want...snicker) is to sign up for a package and be at that banquet for your chance.

If your not there you don't win.

P:S
I want this raffle item(s)

Sweet. Yeah that was my car. Is ralph bringing his car?
I think the black one that is at groundzero belongs to the guy i bought my car from 5 years ago.
Are you going to meet up in north bend for the drive over?

Heres a link on when the Westsiders leave for ABF. When the time gets closer a thread will be posted.
