Anyone know a guy in the Portland/Vancouver area named Cory Fellows, purportedly of Battleground, WA? I believe he owns a Series 5 TurboII, if that helps. The guy paid for a used JDM Turbo motor from Pineapple Racing, but he wrote the check on a closed account. Probably intentional fraud, but we don't care what the excuse is as long as we get our money. Just hoping someone here can help us track him down. Is he on the Forum? Did you meet the guy at a club event? Anything.

Heh, thats a similar situation that happend to Hayes. Sorry to hear about that. I was in Oregon not to long ago to check out an RX7, but no one by that name rings a bell.

Glad to hear there are people who can help us find him. Let's not get too carried away just yet. There is a slim chance this is just an unfortunate mixup on his part, but the circumstances make that hard to believe. You don't accidentally close an account from which you wrote a $950 check. It is hard to believe a local person would do such a thing and think themselves safe from justice, though I suppose it wouldn't be the first time. The details of the affair are actually quite a bit stranger than you might imagine, but I won't go into it at this time.

I really do hope the whole thing is just a mixup and we will likely forget the matter if we get our money in a timely fashion. If not, we will prosecute. The amount of money is almost inconsequential but we take offense at those who take advantage of our trusting nature. But, don't go burning his house down or beating him up. An honest mistake is still an outside possibility and if that is proved false, there is plenty we can do within the law. We just want to get in contact with him at this point.

Okay, this guy defrauded us intentionally. Turns out the checking account was closed since March of 2004 -- over a year and a half. He also burned another shop in the area, which has already filed a police report. We have to wait another ten days to file our report.

I have been told his forum screen name is fasta$$rx7. The guy has two big earrings that look like A/C stud spacers crammed into his ears. Skinny with a shaved head. Obviously, he might change his appearance if he gets wind that half the local rotary community is after him. Anyway, please don't trust him farther than you can throw him...feel free to see how far that may be.

Um, I would have prefered you didn't announce that to the world. Let's reschedule our reconnaisance for another time (we weren't going to confront him, just verify his whereabouts). Besides, I have intellegence saying he is staying elsewhere, so it's probably not going to do anything but rule out a location. Anyway, lets keep this private. Nothing's going to happen to him, except prosecution. And, should the poor guy meet with an unfortunate accident, I shall have an alibi.

While his crime is real, the police are not likely to waste much effort in finding him, so I will do my part to secure his whereabouts and pass that along to the authorities. And when he is aprehended, I will follow-through to ensure a conviction. If he doesn't plead-out, it won't be my first visit to the Grand Jury to testify against a criminal I was responsible for aprehending.

I've met the guy, when he was at the shop, big gauged ears, star tattoo on his elbow, dark hair, girlfriend was hangin out in the parking lot in a black hyundai excel GT.

He definitely drives an FC, because I saw him at PIR with our **** installed on his car.

I think I was at pineapple the day he picked up the motor. If memory serves me right, he and rob loaded the motor into the back of an FC, took some doing! I ran into him a couple times at PIR over the last year, definitely a hard core fc guy. Hope you get your funds!

actually the REAL cory fellows told me that someone has indeed stole his Checks and other peices of ID out of his blazer about a 8 mths ago , from what he knows the skiny ****** already has detectives on his ***, he told me that not only pineapple racing was skammed but corksport and others, this is messing up his credit so badly he might have to claim bankrumpt and he might even have to sell his house to get himself out of debt, believe me if anyone has a address i think my buddy would love to put him in his place first happy hunting guys

Okay, this is sounding like bullshit. If it's identity theft, your friend won't have any liability and it wouldn't explain why there are two separate bank accounts from which the bogus checks were written. It is also a bit too convenient that you neglected to mention the identity theft until I brought it up. Identity thieves normally don't continue to pretend they are the victim for 8 months; they clean out the bank accounts and run up the credit cards and move on. You (Punk_Tuner) have only a handfull of posts, are located in Washington State and own a TII, according to your profile. Please identify yourself by name and call me so we can meet in person. At this point, I'm inclined to believe you are Cory Fellows and are trying to throw a wrench into the investigation. Hopefully, I'm wrong. I'd also like to meet the "real" Cory Fellows.

Oh, and how do you explain how the checking account in question was closed since March 2004...10 months before the checkbook was allegedly stolen? Was the "real" Cory Fellows in the habit to carrying around a checkbook for a closed account? That would be odd, wouldn't you say?
