RPNW does have several cruises coming up, Beacon Rock cruise in August, and a coastal cruise in September.

We also just went to the historic races at PIR just a couple of weekends ago.

If the track got rented and the cost was down to $200 I may be down for that. haha

The club isn't very 'enthusiastic' about track days, or coordinating events. Sorry, I know you guys try.

There is the beacon rock drive coming up in Aug. but details are limited...?

I've been interested in going to a meeting, but they most events are skykart racing...???
:/ Yea.. Somehow the coordination for track days always gets forgotten.. [It's been discussed a lot, usually as an idea to partner with Alfa or someone]

The Beacon Rock drive was nailed down a couple months ago, but for some reason the date got de-solidified >_< This will be resolved on Aug. 4th! [Our monthly meeting on the first Wednesday]

Yep.. Other than the monthly meeting at Round Table, our only regular event is a 30min race at Sykart [which is lots of fun! and I'm not just saying that because I won last time 0 ]

But if you've got enthusiasm for an idea come on down, be decisive and it'll probably work out. ^_^

Yea, I know you guys try, and you really have to have a dedicated group(not saying that you guys aren't) that will fork over the dough to get out and go for you guys to be able to schedule any sort of track events. Even a lapping day would be fun though. After going to the chump car race last year, I've been wanting to get on a track.

Good job on the Win!

I just had a baby boy in May, so my monies and free time is slim right now, but maybe next year or this winter I'll come to the meets (I freaking work right down the road, and have been itching to go)

I do get the RPNW emails. ;-)

Thanks! ^_^

You guys both know that we're not very strict right? The meets are basically free to attend [though Michael will poke you to pay if you come for 6mo or more.. -- The money goes towards club insurance and a couple other things.. It will not be wasted if you do Officially join]

I'm not doing too well on the monies right now either ^_^'.. [Laid off at the start of June and then the company went bankrupt at the start of July..] But I'll try to remember to remind people about the track day plans.

Also, congratulations Nick!
