renegade raceways east vs west meet- take the poll

doing a head count so i dont want to double up.

http://www.nopistons.com/forums/inde...howtopic=63014

Here is the proposed format
1) bbg saturday nite at casa de jenkin in yak city. we have/will have a new pool and you can camp in my yard for free
2) run sunday am at renegade from 10 am til 2 pm. it's an nhra sanctioned strip and you get the christmas tree and times. no real format, the track would be ours. there may be some tech to pass.
3) go away

The format is thus because renegade has a full ticket this summer. The owner suggested we do this at one of their sanctioned events, but it is $40 to run, $8 admission, and you only run til you get beat....
the Sunday AM time is open, but i will need to pony up cash for the staff to run the tree/timer, the strip, and an ambulance..
hence my interest in knowing how many folks would be interested before i throw a $1K party for myself (lol)
nw 7 owners represent...

oregoners are welcome!!!!

Jenkin, you know that I am there but I don't know if I can race. It all depends if I can put 1,000 miles on my motor before this event. You should do it at the end of the summer so that I can break it in.

Westside here

Thats right Westside., you better be up and running Dave. I will be there as long as it is not August 13th. Might bring two cars, the 7 and Darth Wagon.

Well, I sure will try. So CLOSE to rebuild time. But then I will have to put 1000 miles on it before the event. I am going to have to drive it everywhere lol...

We would actually be considered east. I'll be there, and will invite a few other rotor nuts in the area. I'd hope to see Rick, and Dr. Jones there.

You should definately bring the N/A!, besides drag racing isn't all about being the fastest! :-) And yah like Z-Beater said, there will be others as well!!

You should bring your 7! (is it fixed yet?)
I spoke with Jenkin about the date and he was hoping for late July or early August ....and remember the more 7 people we have the cheaper it will be! So get the word out!

Oh I just noticed that the nopistons link works now! Who voted for free? Damn cheap ***!

I want to run the 7, theres just a few problems

1.I've never takin it to the 1/4 and would prolly look like a dumbass
2.Its high mileage and the last thing I want to do is blow it up before I can rebuild it(even though blowing it with lots of rotary people around would prolly we a good thing)

Hey if the price ends up being a lot due to the lack of people I have a lot of friends who would love to come run against some nice cars.Sure there not 7's but it would lower the cost.
