Heres my situation, I'm looking into buying my first fc and this add caught my eye.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/car/191949065.html It sounds great, rebuilt everything with little milage, but after reading these forums I've heard Mazdas and More may as well be monkeys and more. Basicly my question is should I still buy this thing? Look elsewhere? Obviously I'd like to get it checked out by someone in the area, but asking Mazdas and More if they did a good job doesn't seem like it will yeild any kind of accurate information. Any help people can offer would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

i woudlnt spend that much on a FC.... for 5K u could have a sick *** turbo II...

that looks like a nice car, but that just seems ike an awful lot of money...

if this is yr first rx7, u would prolly just wanna start by buying something for around 1500ish...

 

I'm not so turned off by the price. The car is set up just how I want it for now so that is really worth something. The turboIIs on the market haven't been in the greatest of shape and I'd really like to stay mild power N/A. I just got a call from the guy saying he'd be willing to meet me halfway, in or around portland, so now the question becomes where can I take it to get it checked out? Any knowledable mechanics/shops that are open on Sunday? hahaha.

*Update* bought the thing now its my problem. My sexy little problem that lives in my driveway and is super hot.
