There is NOTHING wrong with my porting. There never has been even since day one. Yours is the only engine (that you built, by the way) that ever had mysteriously broken side seals (let's not also forget about those broken corner seals!) from anything I've ever ported. Your foolishness in drifting the car, banging off the rev limiter (I think it was set to 8,000rpm), with a change of turbo done AFTER I tuned the thing, using a wideband that I made perfectly clear did NOT work, with an intake coupler that was ripped!!
It wasn't me - It was YOU, pal. It's that frivolous attitude towards parts and workmanship that's taken with so many of these cars in their construction (that I have to inadvertently deal with when I go out to tune) that ultimately breaks stuff.
As with everything that transpires on the Internet, there's what people like this fella here posts and then there's the real truth.
Enjoy your V8.

We can port, stud or dowel the motor and since it is a T2 motor I would recommend the oil lubercation mods for it. Pm me if you're interested?

You know what? I've about had it with selfish people like you. It was your own damn fault Michael. It wasn't my porting as I've proven over and over again but you just don't get it or refuse to accept that you did it. I spent I don't know how many hours working on your car, trying to get it sorted and at least somewhat tuned, so you'd have something of value from your tuning money even though your car was the worst one in the worst shape I've ever messed with! But no, that's not good enough. Neither was it from your friend Rob who nearly got his car tuned for free that ran better than it ever did! No. I'm instantly the bad guy because a few forum "experts" concur that my porting somehow broke your engine months after I tuned it after we spent a good 2-3hours running it hard! Give me a break.

I guess he is still around. The kid still has no clue how a side seal can crash into a port if it is ported incorrectly, even after all the explanations and examples from real porters.
Since when does drifting, or redlining cause fully supported side seals to fail? lol. Avoid him like the plague for porting. He seemed to do a pretty good job tuning though. And thanks, I really REALLY do enjoy my ls1.
Rob's going ls1 also after he got a ride in my car. XD
