Like I said pray for no rain, if it's looks like it's going to clear up will you come Sled?
No worries, sometime later this year myself and apex are definitely going up to Pacific. Probably May-June time frame.

Plus while YOU may think it's a great chance to sharpen your "skills", I have seen more serious crashes during wet track days. Not everyone can be a rain master. That puts me in jeopardy of some nut crashing into me (cause I am a rain master).
If your new to the track, wet practice is a good way to get to know the track. It forces you to "learn" the track by slowing you down & keeping you on your toes.
Lets face it, why do we do lapping days? To test OUR abilities to drive our cars as quickly as possible.
Last October's Alfa track day was my fist time at Portland.
After the 5th wet session I was getting bored. People would just play follow the leader & hold you up. I found myself sliding the rear end out on some corners to generate a little excitement.
The perfect track day?
A wet morning session followed by dry afternoon sessions. Each session, as the track dries, you increase you confidence & speed.

God damnit! I'm gonna put an LS1 in my car.........kidding. Good stuff, Sled you missed out on a good track day. I damaged my motor though, I guess it's time to do a full resto now. Fawk!!
Yeah I spun! Do I get to go to Hawaii?! Yeah!!! What a great time..2 tanks of gas in 140 miles? Hell yeah I was on it!! Weather was perfect in every way..little sun, little clouds..55 degrees and NO RAIN!!!! One car in the wall though...what kind of car was it you ask? "A bitchin camaro!" He slapped the wall something silly. Fired it right up in there. My first spin on the track...EVER...came in the same corner, but with my mad skills and all I managed to not leave the black stuff. Got in on video too..pencil camera up on the roof, Nascar style..looks pretty cool. Spyder, you should see if we can put that up here somehow. All right..I'm off to ice down my sore neck from all of that fun I had...Sorry to anyone who missed it because they listened to their stupid local weather man!!
hey everyone knows the weath people in our great part of the woods just throw darts most of the time.
Apex's car looked way damn fast and look in the video of your rear camera shot when you passed Dave and see if you can see my One finger salute. I think you might have given Dave the MOD bug because you and Eddie can serve his *** for breakfast.I get 1st dibs for a ride on the 24th

Dude, I haven't touched the thing yet. I'm pissed off at it still, plus I'm waiting for Spider to drop off the cherry picker at Apex's shop. I going to just have Rob look at it and rebuild it if possible. I'm really contemplating doing an LS1 swap right now though. Moneys the issue though, just have to wait and see. Good time to do a full resto on the body too if Apex gets his paint booth soon.

Dude, this is my dad's and I fourth motor now! If you look at the reliability, COST, maintance, etc. the LS1 is the way to go. Hell - LS1 with exhaust and cam is ~500 hp and 489lbs. ft...reliably. Can't say the same for a 13B.
