I am happy to update that the web store has been placed into maintenance. Thank you for the patience as we have worked to get this sorted out. The new owner is working on transitioning to a new platform and I will continue to update this thread with their progress.

BBQ and shop sale UPDATE!

Due to Oregon's fantastic weather, we are moving the BBQ to SATURDAY 5/25 ONLY.
Parts sales are available 5/24 and 5/25 from 10-3PM.
All sales are FINAL and CASH only please.

Hopefully the pictures provide an idea of what's available.
REPU body panels, used and NIB OEM parts.
First, second and third gen MISC parts such as intakes, carbs, coil packs, CAS, distributors, etc.
Engine rotors, irons, plates, SOME housings (only the housings on the chrome wire racks, everything else is scrap), shafts, oil pans, tension bolts, stationary gears, flywheels, clutches, etc.
TONS of parts. Please note, there is limited to no 13BREW or S4/S5 Turbo engine parts. Rob's stock pile had been dwindling down and most of the best bits ended up in his customer builds.

Everything will be priced to SELL, with the exception of a few very rare parts like the MFR 12A/13B housings, REPU, etc.

Marc so just for clarification. Like any items needed for a rebuild. Like for example coolant pressure item, e shaft v blocks etc those won't be part of the sale? Appreciate any response. Thank you.

That is correct, all tools and rebuild parts have been transferred to the new individual taking over the parts business.

Someone here in central TX had 3 storage units full of FB and FC parts they were trying to get rid of in bulk and Atkins ended up trucking it off. So if there are leftovers perhaps they would be interested?

We really don't need a single company cornering the market on these parts.

Doubly so with regards to their borderline fraudulent advertising on supposed OEM parts that turn out to be OEM 'equivalents'.

But Atkins has also done a lot to keep parts available and fill in gaps where it' been necessary. I hope their billet housing work out as a viable alternative to OEM.

Labeling OEM equivalent as OEM is definitely not a transparent company policy

Marc, does the transfer of tools and parts include transmission related tools and new parts?

How would I get a passel of those stationary gears?

Also those costco roll racks are danagerous. I had one loaded up like that and the wheel buckled. Luckily it tipped against a wall. The screw-in post for the wheel was/is made of very cheap metal.

Unfortunately I think they may all be gone. I stopped by yesterday and there was one that had the pineapple name sitting on a rack and someone mentioned they think it was the last one. Somebody grabbed it shortly after.

I want to give a huge thank you to all the people who came to the BBQ/Sale this past weekend. We had over 100 people visit, buy parts, and consume 30lb of brisket. It was clear by the number of people who offered to help in any way that Rob had a huge impact on the community. The kind words and stories about Rob have been overwhelming. I'm doing my best to share what I can with him. We've also unearthed some great photos we're working on having digitized.

I will be there again this Friday, 5/31 - 10AM until 3PM. If you missed the sale/bbq last weekend and want to pop in to see what's left, this is your last chance.

Closing the shop has been a massive task. Please bare with me as a ton of people have reached out and I've been completely swamped with the in-person/physical responsibilities. I am focusing on the priority items right now - returning any remaining projects and emptying the physical space.

Thanks for all your hard work bud. Please send Rob my well-wishes. I also spoke to Chris at RP and filled him in, and he sends along his positive regards as well.

Best wishes to you Rob! I hope all is well and it was an absolute privilege to work with you many years back.

I just randomly came across this thread as I was going to stop by and see if you wanted to go out to lunch or just chat. My phone number is still the same if you would like to reach out to me.

Please tell me those crooks at atkins clean up and take everything they could get their greedy hands on from Rob's shop.

Did something happen to Rob? I saw a social media post making it seemed he passed but I cannot find it - is this true?

From dust we come forth, and to dust we return.

Any word on the new group that was going to keep the parts side of the business going forward?
