Parts hoarder where they at
Its been a long time since ive messed with the old rx7 but I think its going to be back in the road quite soon. But theres stuff ill need before that actually happens. I know back in the day there was a handful of people here in the pnw that had fields with tons of rx7s. Id seen a few of them. Im trying to track down at least for the time being a FC NA LSD. Mine open diff is shot from what I remember and will need replacing. Not having much luck tracking one down shirt of buying a brand new one.
So calliny all the parts hoarders where ya at?

Craigslist. Everyone is selling and reselling them. So they are going up in price, but the best bet is craigslist.

Nah im not looking for that type of stuff. Craigslist is always sketchy and people running a business want top dollar for stuff. I'm after the people like back in the day such as (hope after 8 or ten years I can saybhis name) joemaddox. Or there was a guy outside of Yakima. He had a barn full of motors and a field full of fc's. Seems tgis car or maybe its just the forum that doesn't have the old following it used to. Usually a part could be found within a day or so.
I guess letting my car sit for 9 years wasnt my brightest idea. But then again I didnt think it wpuld be ao damn hard to find a differential.

Unfortunately the forums have suffered at the hands of Facebook groups. There are some fb groups worth joining, if nothing else because of the 100's or 1000's of members that will increase your likelihood of finding what you need.
Just the reality of tech changes.. Like we don't hang out on the bulletin boards any more either.
This place is a great archive of knowledge though!

Your name is one I recognize from back in the day. I'm not sure what his name was, older guy maybe late 50's. Had a nice little farm house with a barn. And that damn Subaru svx he was so proud of. Like half the engine was high gloss chrome. Well i guess i shall have to double down on trying to find an lsd rear end. Its been so long, but maybe someone can verify but from memory I thought id read some older miata lsd will fit into a NA rear end housing.

Little late to the party, but I was recently out there, and those cars are mostly gone, or rotten, sadly. Not a whole lot of usable parts left. Does still have those SVXs though. Hah.

Marc heynderickx (fd3s engineering, at his daddys house in canby, pineapple racings sub contractor), pineapple racing, rotary power northwest members, kurt robertson and atkins are why it is all dead. Why joe maddox has a **** name and why there are no rotary cars around or good parts and prices. Your local shops and enthusiests killed the community and deals by killing the joe maddoxs of the community.
