I was able to make seven passes.

car: 1988 Mazda RX7 SE
Engine: 1999 Chevrolet LS1 5.7L (stock)
transmission: 4L60E (stage 2 Performabuilt), 3500 stall
Tires: Mickey Thompson ET drag 28x9-15, MT ET fronts 25x4.5-15
Mods: T2 diff, 5-lug swap, poly bushings, KYB AGX struts, 150# rear springs, Hurst Quarterstick shifter, shorty headers, X-pipe.

will post up a pic of the timeslip if you'd like later...

the best run, 12.113 @ 112.44, had my worst reaction time... best R/t was .170. I need to work on that.

r/t: .968
60': 1.669
330': 4.961
1/8: 7.725
mph: 88.6
1000': 10.109
1/4: 12.113
mph: 112.44

yes, in fact the T2 diff can go up to ~450 hp/tq. some guys are going faster than me with NA diffs(but not many). when I first put the car together, I was launching hard on an NA open diff. it all just depends on how hard you're hitting them, manual transmissions are much harder than autos on diffs, a clutch drop transfers a much greater shock load to the ring/pinion/axles... most likely fail point is the stub shaft, occasionally other points.

Oh sure, I forgot you were running an auto tranny and that does take a huge load off the diff when launching. That's definitely a respectable e/t without engine mods and using an auto.

yeah that is a good time on the stock motor, im running a close set up, but lt1 instead of ls1 and a 700r4 with full corvette internals and b&m shift kit, but no slicks, just some proxies. but are you going to the track any time soon again?

I'm not sure when I'll be making it back to run again right now, likely next month sometime.

these are some of the remaining T&T dates @ P.R..... (I really need to work on my R/T's)
Wednesdays- July 31, August 6, 20
Fridays- August 1, 8

Bremerton has T&T on August 8, 15, 22, 23...
