Need to get ride of my RX-7

That's it. It finally died on me. The Apex seals are gone so the engine is out.

Are there anyone in the Bellingham, WA area (about 20 miles south of the Canadian boarder) that’s willing to buy it up for the parts? Or would anyone know of someone that does that 'cash for cars' biz? Being that all the shops up here don't want to touch a rotary engine, most buyers are discouraged. I was told to seek out an "Ernie" from Lummi Island and ask him--was informed he buys RX-7s. But he couldn't give me any information on how to contact him. So if there is any slim chance anyone know of him, that would help.

Thanks for your help in advance.

BTW, it's an '83 GSL.

Dont give up that easy... Here is a link to a 83 gsl in your area, that has a great motor and trans, has body damage, so all you need it to snag it up for the motor and then you'll have extra parts for your car.. AND HE ONLY WANTS 250.00!!!

Dont give up that easy, all engines break, and this is not something that should detour a 7 driver!!!

Hey, I really appreciate the help on that. My problem is, I'm in a rut right now. It hit at a very bad point. So with a deal with that, I don't have the cash to get it up here and all that. Ultimately, I need to just sell what I have. Maybe when the economy starts to improve, I can look into buying a newer one once more.
