My Wrecked (notso bad) FC

Well, Yesterday I rear ended some guy on merdian in puyallup. Here are some pics

I need a new bumper, Hood, lights, quarter panels

So if you have a parts car or something I found one in Granite Falls for 800 bucks The motor is blown in it so I would swap my NA into it.

here are pics

EDIT: pics will come tonight...

My opinion is all 2 rotor na rotary engines are a waste. Save the money for a NA-T or t2 swap.

Yeah... but you are just addicted to boost. I know nothing about turbos and what not so I dont want to get to deep into it. Plus I got to have a car to drive to school/Work for now so if I was going to do that I would probably find a Project car to make a TII swap or NA-T. I just dont have a lot of income right now and Im about to move out so Ill have to see whats happening. Play it by ear.

What I am trying to say is you are going to spend $350+ in aftermarket parts and fixes to trying to make your NA better, when you are going to gain ... maybe at most 20 hp. You could be saving that money to find a t2 manifold, turbo, injectors, drivetrain, maf, and pressure sensors and gain well over 80 hp and have a lot more potential in the car. (also you get rid of the stupid open diff and ridiculously weak na transmission.) Find someone with a blown t2 car that they are sick of and ask em how much they want for the parts you need.

Yes I am addicted to boost, but that is the replacement for displacement, and a NA 2 rotor engine doesn't have many options that are affordable or logical to make the car quick. Our cars <3 boost. http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n...to_turbo2.html

Nice job, wasn't so bad eh? Doesn't look like you bent much of any metal. Our cars are pretty tuff, they don't just crunch like a lot of the newer cars. :/

I would say so! Did you get hurt much when that happened? I've been wondering how it would go if that happened to me.. I just position myself now so that if I'm @ a stoplight and someone runs up on me I can just hit the gas and get between some cars ahead of me.

Nice, looking good. How are you going to hold the top to the main bumper? Just wondering.

The Top Lip ? or the bumper its self.

IllTell you both.

For the lip i took a metal bracket off of the stock Bumper from the top and it fit perfectly on the lip. Drilled holes in the fiberglass and they all lined up perfectly with the stock holes on the car.

For the bumper I just lined everything up. put the bolts in. Drill a few extra holes for more support and its on. Than (pics here http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c7...2/IMG_0620.jpg) for the side lights i cut out the holes in the bumper and put the lights through on the side and when i bolted those together back in the kit was pretty solid. I think i did a pretty decent job.

Does anybody know if you have to have a front license plate in wa?

Thanks.
-Taylor

ps more pics to come. sideskirts on this weekend!

Cool cool. I don't want to nit pick, I just want to make sure you have seen what I see. Maybe you fixed it already, but the top lip is a little higher on the driver side than it is on the passenger side. Any ideas?

Ya i noticed that today when I was taking the pics. I am going to have to put some spacers in it to even it out. Ill take a look at it on my day off. Gonna have to think that one through.

EDIT: just though of this I think the bolts on that side that is higher arnt all the way down now that i think about it. Ill have to tighten this up tomorrow and see if that fixes it!

Plus the sides of the front lip need to to be bolted into the fenders still.

Still a work in progress. its looking good though.

For the first time Some kid at school came up to me and told me i had a nice car. I feel soo ashamed of my car because its all ricey looking with the unpainted kit. makes me sad becasue i make fun of all the rice burners.

oh well

anyways i got to get of the damn computer and fall asleep, i hate laptops...

Have a good night guys

-Taylor
