My 85 GSL-SE Died I think...
So I was driving down kaiser rd in oly going to a garage sale and all of a sudden my car decides to freak out when shifting down...
Now the car wont start unless my foot is on the pedal and the pedal is all the way to the floor and even then it has a hard time starting... When it does start it wont idle and it doesnt sound too good in lower rpm's, though it seems to sound normal at the higher rpm's.
Dunno what to do, any thoughts?

start with a ghetto compression check. Make sure you have 3 even pulse on each rotor. Then start checking the usuall suspects.
Also when you or anyone post up for help, give us a little info on your car i.e. bone stock with a 155k miles and a carbiner hanging off of the bumper. People almost always forget to post that stuff up.
So yea comp test first. Good Luck hope its nothing too serious.

Save your money for buying a technical manual on these cars.
If you were only runnng on 1 housing it would not have power in the upper RPM range.
There are multiple things with the SE that can cause this.
Did the engine back fire while you were driving or down shifting?
Check to make sure that the AFM flap door is shut all the way when the engine is not running.
Do you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key to the on position?
Check to make sure that the Air ducting from the T/ body to the AFM is not loose and that the connection in the center has not come loose.
Those are the basics besides making sure that the leading ignitor is still firing.
Also make sure the connection to the coolant temp sensor is tight.
Report back after all recommended findings if still having issues.
